In what may be the very first clue of post-Vince McMahon World Wrestling Entertainment, HHH is pushing hard behind the scenes for what a key insider described to WrestleZone as "a major overhaul" to the developmental system.

"It's no secret within WWE that HHH feels the developmental system is a joke," our inside source told us this evening, "and the Florida developmental area looks to be a runaway train."

Our source tells us that HHH has pitched directly to Vince McMahon that Jim Ross be utilized in a recruiting capacity, while HHH would oversee more of what Talent Relations Executive John Laurinaitis does on a daily basis in terms of checking up on the system.

Trips is bang on the money with this one. Why WWE don't have some kind of agreement with New Japan about sending rookies over there to learn to work is beyond me. Having one company just means they all learn the same thing, the same way and no-one stands out.

At the least, they need 3 totally independent development companies, all producing guys in a different way. At least then there's a chance that someone will stand out, for something other than being utterly ripped or really tall.

I dont like the way HHH seems to have gone about getting his power but I couldn't agree more with him on this. The developmental system is a joke, just look at the NXT show and what a piece of crap that is. All of them are just generic untalented muscle heads. The only stand out people who were on NXT were Daniel Bryan, Kaval and Wade Barrett (for his personality) all of whom had been on the independent circuit.

HHH is spot on the whole devolpment side of thing is terrible. And a lot of the wrestlers they pick up from the indys could come in and do a job without having to go into devolpment.

Probably why Sting hasn't signed for them. He'd have to do at least 6 months in FCW, before being introduced as Stevie B, a disco-dancing heel looking to end the Streak.
