WWE on Sky Box Office

Subject: WWE on Sky Box Office Sun Jan 30, 2011 5:17 pm

I've just purchased the Royal Rumble for tonight on Sky and went to record it. It wouldn't let me. So I phoned up Sky.

They told me I am unable to record the event or any other WWE event on Box Office. He said that it is nothing to do with Sky, it's one of the conditions that WWE have in their contract with Sky (or something along those lines).

I told him that I have recorded WWE events in the past and it gets deleted after so many days. He said this is a new thing that has recently happened.

So, if any of you are purchasing the Royal Rumble be aware of this. I'll now have to wait until 9pm tomorrow night to watch the repeat!

i've got mine sky plused but it probably wont record

was yours in HD?

No mate just normal. channel 743. I dont have HD. When I pressed record it came up with 'unable to record, call for assistance'.

Bit of a pisstake really. Could always try and record through dvd player.

I don't have a recorcable DVD player - and if i did, me and technology aren't the best of friends - as you can tell by some of the questions I ask.
