PostSubject: backstage politics involving The Miz   Mon Jul 19, 2010 4:35 pm

According to several sources within WWE, Michael Cole's PPV commentary tonight about The Miz being "the future of Raw" was a directed line from Vince McMahon, and was a specific line the company will be building on.

The Miz is seen by McMahon as a reliable workhorse, and is making the most of his push by doing as many media days and corporate appearances as possible. Miz has campaigned to be recognized as a "go-to" guy by McMahon, and is now starting to get the rewards of his appearances, media talks, and willingness to devote so much of his time to the company. One person I spoke with said it's the very same way John Cena got over with Vince McMahon, and the similarities are uncanny. "McMahon didn't like Cena at first, but Cena just worked harder than anyone else and won him over with a tireless work ethic," I was told. "The Miz is doing the exact same thing."

same but does it mean Vince has plans to turn Miz face?

Could it actually be Miz who is a main opposition to The Nexus?

Danielson returns as a heel Vs Face Miz? Would be very wierd

i hope Miz stays heel he is brilliant as a heel i wouldnt mind him being the leader of nexus as he is great on the stick and could be the guy who talks for them also would get more people to take him serious if he's put all this together

You know I've been comparing Miz to early Cena for the last three years, I could see a lot of early Cena in the Miz, even with the way he used to dress

so in 4 years time we could be seeing Miz squash countless people Laughing

But yeh would agree i would like him to stay heel as well,

They label him 'the future of RAW' rather than a future top guy of WWE, do you reckon this is just because he is currently on Raw or because they plan to keep him there for a long time.

If so what about Orton? Will he be the face of Smackdown maybe? But again Swagger? future faces of the company are plenty around atm so it shows they hold Miz in very high regard anyway.

Also with his MITB could we see Miz's promise to be the first US & WWE title holder fulfilled?

but people may actually prefer Miz to Cena though so won't mind as much when/if WWE try shoving Miz at us

I wouldn't really mind WWE shoving Miz at us. I think it'd be better if they did it whilst he remained a heel, like just a bad guy who, much to the disappointment of the crowd, would keep winning purely because he was better than everyone.
