Just heard On The radio that Arsene wenger has been looking at them both and wants to sign one Pavlyuchenko looks more likely he said. He's rumoured to be putting a 12m bid in for Roman Pavlyuchenko but cant see it being that much for him. Also Fran Merida will leave arsenal in the summer for Atletico Madrid after signing for them after refusing a contract with us and it runs out in the summer.

Who would you sign ?

Peter Crouch for me

Not really a big fan of either to be honest, although Crouch is working very well alongside Defoe. Can't see Redknapp willing to let Crouch go unless he gets a ridiculous bid, which Arsenal will never do. Pavlyuchenko on the other hand, has he even started a game this season?

To be honest I think Arsenal need to be looking for a goalscorer rather than a target man. they rarely bang in crosses and like to play their way in through the middle, so surely that would be a better fit.

Pavlyuchenko has more pace about him which might suit the Arsenal but I think Peter Crouch is a much better footballer and could help bring the players around him into the game, again, something that Arsenal usually like

i would just get one till we get RVP back from injury all though tbh i would just play Arshavin in RWF and put Nasri in LWF and keep Eduardo CF, Bendtner is back hopefully he will bounce back and bang some goals in for us but i would choose Pavlyuchenko because he's best mates with Arshavin and when they played togther for russia they were a good pair so we could try to repair that partnership

Eduardo has looked pretty useless since recovering from that injury though, which is why Wenger must be looking for a striker. Bendtner I really don't see anything in at all unfortunately.

which is why i would play him on RWF all he'll have to do is cross and take on 1 or 2 players

For the kind of money it would take for both of those guys they would be better going after someone like Yakubu who is a proven EPL Goalscorer and has bags of pace and would probably suit Arsenal, he could be the goalscorer they've been looking for
